The idea behind its creation is mainly the fact that music school teachers, despite their interest, often struggle with the lack and unavailability of contemporary music literature intended for children.<\/p><p>The works published in our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newmusicforkids.org\/?id=o_databaze\">database<\/a> are freely accessible even to the youngest performers and their teachers. A selection concert performed by children&#8217;s performers will also take place during the opening ceremony of the global festival<a href=\"http:\/\/iscmwnmd2013.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> ISCM World New Music Days 2013<\/a> in Ko\u0161ice, which for the first time in history is co-organized by the International Society for Contemporary Music &#8211; Slovak Section (ISCM).<\/p><p>We want to support the creativity of teachers working at primary and secondary art schools through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newmusicforkids.org\/?id=seminare_a_tvorive_dielne\">seminars and commented concerts<\/a>.
